About our staff

The function of the teacher, in a Montessori environment, is to act as a guide for the students.  The term Directress is used to indicate this less traditional but very effective role.

      NMP is fortunate to have a gentle, loving faculty that are the basis for our comfortable, respectful, community.  The creative and dedicated directresses have many years experience in the Montessori classroom and are certified by the American Montessori Society.
